Sanyo Zio is a mid range smart phone which is the first installment to the smart phone market from Sanyo.  Although Sanyo was bought by Kyocera in 2008, the phone still carries the Sanyo brand all throughout.  Most of us would think that if it is in the mid range category, a product of that sort might not be too pleasant and elegant to look at.  Sanyo Zio has proven it wrong, The misconceptions of price versus quality was clearly made clear by this phone.

At first glance, the Sanyo Zio looks elegant.  It is mainly black but with significant silver accents on it. It is slim, which makes it fit right into your pocket and it is light too, weighing only 3.7 ounces.  Aside from the looks there are a lot of elements that you will be surprised with which you may not expect from an inexpensive smart phone.

Sanyo Zio has a WVGA 800 x 480 pixel capacitive touch screen, touch sensitive buttons and hardware buttons for launching innate phone functions.  The phone has a 3.2 megapixel camera, Wifi, Bluetooth and GPS functions. It runs with android 2.1 with a 600MHz CPU to top all the good things about the phone. The Sanyo Zio’s calling and receiving capacity works out well as long as your service provider is also at its best.

Sanyo Zio is so handy and light that you would not feel that it is a mid range phone.  It is made of mostly plastic parts but we do not have to be so lax about things.  One way of keeping your phone as new looking as possible is to protect it with shields skin screen and body protectors.  The shield skins protector can be placed on your Sanyo Zio’s screen or if you want to go all out you can do more by choosing the shield skins body protector.  This of protector is so thin that you would not notice that it is there.  It makes your phone scratch free and smudge free as well.  The shields skin healing capacity would hide all unwanted marks making your phone as good as new.

All in all, the Sanyo Zio is full packed with good things considering its price range.  It is elegant and very trendy without giving up the essentials of a smart phone.  Sanyo Zio is good to go and is not as disappointing as most people would assume it to be.
